Vicar:
Rev Duncan Carter
Vicarage, 16 Church St, Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire, RG9 1SE ((574822)
Licensed Lay Minister: Michael Forsdike
Churchwarden: Barbara Williams
Home groups meet on Monday and Tuesday evenings and occasionally on Wednesday afternoons. These meetings provide an opportunity to encourage each other in faith and in our daily activities through friendship, mutual support, prayer and bible study. Only so much of what scripture tells us can be communicated from the pulpit; much more can be discovered by conversation in small groups in the comfort and relaxed atmosphere of our own homes.
All are always welcome.
Contact: Michael Forsdike on 01491 612161.
We meet from 10:30am to about 12 noon, each Wednesday at the home of Mike Hails.
It started as a Lent group, studying Delia Smith’s Feast for Lent. For Lent 2005 we invested in a York Course called Better Together? on relationships.
We have just finished looking at a Church Times Study Guide called Prophets and Loss: exploring the Old Testament.
